L'Hémicycle
Du 25 au 27 mars 2022. March 25 - 27, 2022. Le Havre.
Premier évènement de ce genre en France, L'Hémicycle est un jeu de rôle visant à modéliser le débat parlementaire français au sein de l'Assemblée Nationale et du Sénat. Fondé par des étudiants du campus euro-asiatique de Sciences Po, ce projet s'inspire de la Modélisation des Nations Unies (Models United Nations) et l'adapte au modèle parlementaire français.
Les participants, issus des diverses écoles supérieures du Havre, se mettront dans la peau de sénateurs ou de députés français pour le temps d'un week-end, composé de débats, de réflexions et d'échanges. La première journée sera consacrée à l'élaboration de projets de loi au sein de diverses commissions ; la seconde, aux séances plénières qui rassembleront tous les participants au sein des deux assemblées pour débattre et voter une loi.
Afin d'inclure la communauté internationale du Havre et de Sciences Po et de démocratiser davantage le système politique français, la conférence sera déroulera conjointement en français et en anglais, grâce à un système de traduction simultanée pendant toute la conférence.

The first event of its kind in France, L'Hémicycle is a role-playing game that aims to model the French parliamentary debate in the National Assembly and the Senate. Founded by students from the Euro-Asian campus of Sciences Po, this project is inspired by Models United Nations and has been adapted to the French parliamentary model.
The participants, coming from the various universities and schools of Le Havre, will have the opportunity to become French senators or deputies for a weekend, full of debates, reflections and discussions. The first day will be dedicated to the elaboration of bills in various commissions; then, during the second day, plenary sessions will take place for both assemblies, during which all participants will debate and vote on a bill together.
In order to include the international community of Le Havre and Sciences Po and to further democratise the French political system, the conference will be held in both French and English, with simultaneous translation taking place throughout the conference.
